Trinidad

Trinidad is certainly one of the most beautiful places in Cuba, an absolute must if you visit Cuba. In no other city you can experience so close the mix of colonial history with beautiful architecture, white Caribbean beaches and Cuban music. The ancient colonial city of Trinidad has preserved its face and charm for over five centuries. Life in the city does not seem to come to rest, until the early hours of the morning there sounds music from the houses and various bars. A visit to the legendary Casa de la Musica should definitely not be missed. There are live bands every night and just watching the Cuban salsa dancers will give you goose bumps. If you visit Trinidad for several days you can enjoy the day on the white beach of Playa Ancon or in the idyllic La Boca (a small picturesque town on the outskirts of Trinidad) and plunge into the hustle and bustle of the city in the evening. Various bars and restaurants also guarantee for culinary delights. Highly recommended there is the bar La Botija, just 200 meters from the Casa de la Musica. The bar is open 24 hours. From 4pm to 6pm there is a happy hour for delicious cocktails.
