Cienfuegos is the sixth largest city in Cuba and is the capital of the province of Cienfuegos. The city is located on the bay of Cienfuegos on the Caribbean side of Cuba. Currently about 170,000 inhabitants live in the city. Cienfuegos is located about 80 kilometers west of Trinidad and is reachable by car in an hour and by bus in 1.5 hours.
